Couples Therapy Intensives:
Couples intensives offer a unique opportunity to break free from long-standing patterns of conflict, emotional distance, or issues that have felt unresolvable—often in just a few days instead of months.
This approach is designed to fit seamlessly into your and your partner’s busy lives, so you don’t have to worry about taking time off work or repeatedly finding childcare for weekly sessions.
Intensives help you and your partner move beyond frustration and reconnect on a deeper level, creating lasting positive change.
Instead of slowly drifting apart, you can make real progress in your relationship and rekindle the connection that brought you together in the first place.
Investment & Program Information:
- 1 Day – 5 hours of therapy | $1200
- 2 Days – 9 hours of therapy across two days | $2400
Additional or ongoing intensive couples therapy is available if you want longer-term support or if you prefer the intensive format to weekly couples therapy.
Important Considerations
Intensive therapy isn’t the right fit for every couple. Here are some things to keep in mind as you decide:
Intensives are not appropriate if there is an ongoing affair. In these cases, this format isn’t an option.
If you and your partner don’t share the same goal for therapy, an intensive likely won’t be effective. This approach works best when both people are committed to working on the relationship together.
If you’re still deciding whether to stay in the relationship or marriage, an intensive isn’t the right setting. Discernment Counseling may be a better option for you.
For couples who are aligned and ready to move forward together, intensives can be deeply rewarding. But if you’re not on the same page, it’s unlikely to be beneficial.
If being in the same room for an extended period feels overwhelming or if you haven’t been able to interact civilly for some time, this format may not be productive.
Intensives are not suitable if there is active intimate partner violence. For more information and support, please visit the provided resources on intimate partner violence.
