Compassionate Therapy for Trauma and OCD in Nevada
For adults navigating complex trauma, relational issues, and unwanted intrusive thoughts.
Are you wondering if things will ever get easier?
Stop just surviving the day. Start reclaiming your light.
Intrusive Flashbacks & Nightmares
You’re exhausted- you are constantly being reminded of the traumatic event, either in the form of flashbacks or nightmares.
The Exhausting Mask of "I'm OK"
On the outside, you might seem to have everything under control, but on the inside, you just want to run away from everything.
The Check-and-Recheck Loop
You are getting stuck with the same intrusive thought about something bad happening, so you check and recheck to make sure. This leads to not only interruptions to your day, but to your life.
Chased by Your Own Mind
You might have tried to “think” your way out of these behaviors, might have tried to ignore them, but they keep chasing you everywhere you go.
The Restless 2:00 AM Wake-Up Call
these thoughts linger softly in your mind at night, and even if you manage to rest, they gently nudge you awake in the early hours, reminding you that something important needs your attention.
The Exhausting Cycle of Constant Alertness
being constantly alert and on edge, always scanning the environment for potential threats.
Ready to break the cycle
You’re ready to move forward, not to just survive another day.
Hi, I am Avneet.
Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) that gets to the root of the issue. I will help you reconnect with yourself, get out of survival mode, and live your life with more ease.
I also utilize Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy to challenge the OCD thoughts that keep individuals stuck in a vicious cycle of the “what if”.

FAQ SECTION
I am a private-pay provider. I use Thrizer as my payment platform for private-pay sessions. If you have out-of-network benefits, Thrizer can also help make the out-of-network billing process easier. Through Thrizer, you can check your estimated out-of-network benefits, see an estimated session cost, pay for sessions, and have eligible out-of-network claims submitted for you. If your plan reimburses for out-of-network care, reimbursement is determined by your insurance after the claim is processed. If you are eligible, you may also have the option to pay an estimated upfront amount instead of paying my full session fee and waiting for reimbursement. You can use the widget below to check your estimated out-of-network benefits and session cost.
$150 for individual therapy session, $180 for couples therapy session.
Intensive therapy rates (extended therapy sessions) are listed on the intensive page.
I don’t accept insurance directly, but I partner with Thrizer to help you use your out-of-network benefits. This means you can often get 50-80% of your therapy session costs reimbursed. Thrizer handles the billing process for you, making it easy to get money back.

For the initial session, we will spend the hour reviewing the informed consent documents, the assessments you filled out, and any additional goals you might have so we can develop an individual treatment plan.
The frequency of therapy sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals. Many clients attend therapy once a week, while others may attend less frequently. We will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan.

A therapy intensive is a focused, in-depth session or series of sessions designed to address specific emotional or mental health needs. It allows for concentrated work in a shorter amount of time compared to regular therapy.
I’m a good fit for clients who have experienced trauma, are navigating PTSD, depression, anxiety, women’s issues, or challenges with boundaries. I also support those who are interested in self-discovery. I work best with individuals who are motivated to actively participate in their healing and are ready to make positive changes in their lives.
